Number 1 Recommendation On Stress Management

You can also learn about different stress management techniques in books, some of which may be talking about something different and it just happens that the technique that they outline can be used as a stress management technique. For instance, using positive affirmations is a technique mentioned in different self help books. Using positive affirmations is also a stress management technique with the following caveat; as long as the positive affirmation does not add additional stress. My way around that is to use the phase “may I” in front of the positive affirmation. The “may I” prefix is used in a meditation known as Loving Kindness meditation which is also a great way to manage stress. For instance, the positive affirmation “I am well” is reworded to “May I be well”.

As you can see from the above videos, stress can do damage to you. This is why it is so important to know stress management techniques that help you to keep stress down to a reasonable level for you.

Conscious Stress Management Course - 4 week practical coaching programAs there are loads of different techniques out there that are used in stress management, the problem becomes how can I learn in an effective and efficient manner a number of these techniques which I can use now? I do not want to invest or waste time reading books that are full of theory and do not explain how to put such a such technique into use now. No doubt you are the same.

My #1 recommendation on stress management is to do the Conscious Stress Management course which has been developed by a psychotherapist. This particular course covers mindfulness, coaching tools, meditation and positive psychology principles. This is technically an online course which is 28 days in length. I say technically because it has been designed so that you spend some time on it on a daily basis and technically you do over 28 consecutive days. However the great advantage with it, is that you do it when you can, so it may take longer than the designed 28 days, but so what, once you buy the course, you have lifetime access to the course. You do the course at your own pace.

In my opinion, you are sure to add something to your stress management toolbox if you do this course. Now of course, I have assumed of course that you also spent some time and effort at your end to implement some of the stuff you learn during the course. 🙂

This is my #1 Recommendation on stress management. The reasons for this is because the course covers a number of different approaches, so you are free to determine the approaches that work for you, and use those ones.

Stress is a serious problem for us in today’s modern society. Too much stress can damage our physical health, our mental health and our relationships with other people. No matter where we are, stress triggers are there. It is really difficult to manage them in an effective and clever way.

Some stress reducing suggestions and advice can actually be stress-inducing

There are a lot of suggestions and lots of advice out there. One of the unintended side affects of these well meaning suggestions and advice is that they themselves can be stress-inducing. This can be because these suggestions and advice are not well developed, or not organized well or not easy to actually implement into our daily lives.

Thinking Outside To Manage Stress

In late 2017, I came across the Conscious Stress Management Course which is a 4 week course, where some different stress management techniques are outlined and you are given guidance on these to help you manage your stress levels.

What is the Conscious Stress Management course?

These are materials available online in a password protected area where the person doing the course accesses in order to learn about a number of different ways to manage stress in a conscious way. In order to assist you in reducing your stress levels, you can learn about a number of different tools and different approaches to manage stress in a conscious way and in a regular way to help reduce the amount of stress in your life.

Who is the Conscious Stress Management course for?

This course is for anyone who experiences stress and wants to learn ways to manage stress in conscious ways. By doing this, it is hoped that the levels of stress will be reduced to manageable levels. Also if you are not currently experiencing stress, this course would help you to keep it at bay. 🙂

How Stress May Affect The Human Body

As you can see, stress may affect us in many different ways. First things first, yes, I bought this course myself because like a lot of people, maybe like you, I too can get stressed out, and I wanted to learn about effective ways to reduce my stress levels for my overall well-being. Also, I do not like it when I read other reviews out there only to find out that the person doing the reviewing did not even bother to buy it themselves or even use it themselves, so how can they review something that they themselves do not personally use?

I learned about more stress management techniques which in turn help me to reduce my stress levels. As well as that, I learned to write down my observations in connection with different tasks, then to review these observations so that I could determine afterwards if it could have used a different approach that might have been better for me. And if so, to determine that different approach, so that if something similar happens again, I am ready for it. 🙂

By doing this course, I learned about stress management in such a way that I became more conscious of stress management. For instance, when I was doing the course, I came across one stress management technique that was so simple, effective and efficient that I ‘knew about’ however never really associated it as a stress management technique. Now that I am consciously aware that it can be used as a stress management technique, which something ‘stressful’ happens I can immediately apply this stress management technique and it helps me greatly. That may also be the case for you.

My review is based on my personal experience. Remember as mentioned above, I bought this course myself.

The “daily lessons” do not have to be completed every consecutive day. You can do the daily lessons at your own pace, and if you miss a day or days, no big deal. The last thing you want when doing an online stress management course is to be under stress to do the actual course. 🙂

When you buy the course and keep it, you have access to the course for a lot longer than 4 weeks. 🙂

My pros of the Conscious Stress Management course

The course has been developed by a psychotherapist covering mindfulness, coaching tools, meditation and positive psychology principles.

The course is accessible online, you simply log on anytime to do the online course. You are not limited to when you can access the course content or if you are, I personally have never being unable to access the site, although I am sure that it may from time to time be unavailable for routine maintenance and the like.

By the time you have completed the course, you will have learned and practiced a number of different conscious stress management techniques. And once you purchase the course, you have lifetime access to it so you can do “refreshers” as and when you wish to, if you want to.

A great online stress management course which covers mindfulness, coaching tools, meditation and positive psychology principles has been developed by a psychotherapist.

Stress levels on a daily basis

There are loads of things that add to our stress levels on a daily basis. These can include how we think, how we react to events, and how we take care of ourselves. This course looks at many of these aspects in a simple and more importantly, in an actionable way. You don’t want to read a 500 page book to find out that you read 500 pages of theory that you can not actually implement straight away.

Theory and practical stuff to help with stress levels

I do not know about you, but I hate to read a 500 page book only to find out that it was full of 500 pages of theory and nothing that I could actually implement straight away. I prefer to read a few pages that tells me why something is such a good idea, and then some further information on how to actually implement it in my life today.

Managing stress, an easy way for you

This course consists of information, that once you review and start taking action on that information helps you to manage stress and in the process reduce your stress levels. If stress is affecting you right now, this course will surely help.

If stress is not affecting you right now, this course will provide potential preventative measures to help you to keep it at bay, and if stress affects you in the future, you will have a number of potential measures to help you to manage it better.

One primary reason is that you learn and practice conscious stress management. A side benefit of doing this course and putting into practice what you learn during the course is that your stress management becomes more deliberate, more on purpose and more by design.

Putting this course together involved years of personal work, professional training and experiences by a psychotherapist into creating a well thought out 4-week online coaching program. It uses Western Psychology and Eastern Wisdom to get at the sources of your stressors – one step at a time, day after day.

Many different aspects are covered. These include tools, principles and mind-set shifts. Even if all you take from this course is integrating 2 or 3 of these different aspects into your daily life, it will be well worth the investment many times.

You know that stress is such a problem and it can have such consequences to your overall health – physical, mental, psychological, relational and professional life. Yet a lot of the material out there is either incomplete or too overwhelming. I enjoyed doing the course, so I think you will enjoy this course.

My cons of the Conscious Stress Management course

There are a few minor cons that I noticed when I was doing this course. This are in my opinion very small compared to the pros of this course, however they do need mentioning.

This does require some commitment, time and effort at your end to implement some of the stuff you learn. Like a lot of things in life, if you do not put in the commitment, you do not get the benefits. 🙂

There are some audio recordings where the author reads the contents of a document. Those audio recordings I found difficult to follow as the sound quality was less than perfect. However, as I was reading the contents of the associated document at the same time, I do not consider this a bad con. Before beginning the course for day 1, it is recommended to listen to audios (where available) and to follow along in the associated pdf file (where available). By doing these together, it makes for a more enjoyable learning experience. The idea I believe, is that using both approaches at the same time, helps you to learn and to retain the information.

English is not the native language of the author of the Conscious Stress Management Course and this is noticeable at times. To be fair, this is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is an advantage in getting a message across, that is very concise and very exact, although at times you have to fill in the gaps, as it were. I do not consider this a bad con.

Why I recommend the Conscious Stress Management course?

The course is split up into small daily bite size clunks. These start to build up on each other as you go through the course. Some really good stress management techniques are explained and you are encouraged to include some of these into your daily life. The instructor provides worksheets in PDF form which help a lot in that you are reminded to do some of the stress management techniques every day, write down what is stressing you, and you are encourage to review this information which you wrote down to help determine further actions in the future. You learn some good methods and techniques.

    I have been very stressed a few years ago because I constantly worried about everything and my life wasn’t going as I wanted it to go. I’ve found meditation to be a really great way to manage my stress but since I was new to it, it was really hard to learn the ropes of meditation. I should’ve looked for some courses like this one for managing my stress, because it would’ve saved me so much time.

For me, this course provided additional information and additional resources that helped me and still help me to manage my stress levels. Included in the additional resources is at least one guided meditation session. This guided meditation session is an audio file which you can play again and again. Included in the additional resources is advice on how to use these additional resources to manage your own stress levels. This course is helping me to manage my stress levels.

      I am happy that you already found an option that seems to be helping you to relieve your stress. I would still suggest that you look at this course as well. I found that by the time that I actually brought the course, I was aware of a number of different stress management techniques. This course actually explained a few more stress management techniques that I was not aware of prior. Some of these I find useful, practical and have actually used to help me reduce stress when I could feel it going in the wrong direction. The trick is to remember to use the appropriate stress management technique in the ‘moment’.

  4. You are right! Stress affects every part of our body, and in different ways with different people. I do not handle some stress the best. I think my problem is that I like everything to be in order, done properly, caught up, etc. I get stressed when it is not, and I go overboard working on getting everything done to where it should be. At work, this can be great! Personally, not so great. I have found some techniques I use, because my mind goes on overkill until everything is sorted out and stuff. This might be just what I need!       Yes, that is correct. Stress affects people in different ways, and different people react differently to stressful situations.

      This course will help you for sure because you learn about a number of different approaches and are encouraged to practice them in a “checklist” manner. Of course, you do not have to do everything on the “checklist” because after a while you can make your own “checklist”.

  5. I tend to stress over little simple things. I am a bit OCD and a bit of a clean freak in all regards of my life. Because of this I get stressed when things are not in order, in place, etc. That can even go for my son getting his school work done, lol. So, I can stress easily and it is very hard to get off my mind. So relaxing in a sauna or Jacuzzi tends to not be so relaxing for me. I have learned some techniques that are helping….a lot. But this course sounds like just what I need! Thanks!

      I never thought of actually doing the online stress management course in a park or at a peaceful beach. That is an interesting idea. As some of the lessons suggest some techniques where you close your eyes, those ones I wouldn’t suggest doing in a public place where there may be security concerns and where you need to be aware fully of your surroundings.

      My #1 recommendation contains a number of techniques that are learned in little chucks of time on a regular basis so that by the time you get to the end of the course, you have additional techniques and tools to help with stress management.

    That online stress management course sounds interesting. I know all too well how stress can affect health. For me I turned to prayer and some simple yoga deep breathing techniques. Of course facing the cause of the stress and trying to cut it out of your life is another approach but it is not something that can be easily done, depending on the situation at hand.

    As much as I am a techie geek, I still feel that technology’s infiltration into our daily lives is a big contributor of daily stress. Things were a lot simpler and less stressful before smartphones and social media. Nowadays people want instant and fast things to happen. I recently unplugged myself from using my computer, smartphone and social media for a couple of days, and my stress levels went way down.

      Glad to hear that your stress levels went way down when you were “off the grid” for a few days.

      One brilliant idea is to unplug yourself from using your computer, smartphone and social media for about 2 hours before you go to bed.

      If you drink coffee, another idea is to not drink coffee after 6 pm, assuming that you go to bed sometime after 10 pm.

      These simple ideas are really effective, as they help you sleep better. Getting the right amount of quality sleep is good for you.
